We are currently recruiting for an IT specialist on behalf of our client, a high-end retail boutique situated in Miami design district. This position is essential for maintaining the store's operational efficiency, with responsibilities encompassing POS system management, inventory control software, and enhancing the online shopping experience for customers. Candidates should possess a deep understanding of retail IT systems, coupled with a flair for implementing innovative tech solutions to elevate customer service and streamline sales processes.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing and maintaining the Point of Sale (POS) system to ensure smooth day-to-day sales transactions.
- Managing and updating inventory control software to accurately track stock levels and facilitate timely reordering.
- Enhancing the online shopping platform to improve user experience, increase sales, and ensure cybersecurity measures are up to date.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to integrate IT solutions that support online promotions and digital marketing campaigns.
- Providing technical support to staff, addressing and resolving any IT-related issues promptly.
- Conducting regular system backups and ensuring data recovery procedures are in place and effective.
- Implementing new technologies and systems to improve customer service and operational efficiency.
- Training staff on new IT systems and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Specialist in the retail industry, preferably in a luxury retail environment.
- Strong understanding of retail POS systems and inventory management software.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity best practices and data protection protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to collaborate with teams across different departments.
- Strong communication and training skills.
