A leading luxury hotel suite in the heart of Manhattan is currently offering an opportunity for a part-time private butler. The successful applicant will cater to the bespoke needs of our guests, offering a range of services from personal shopping to itinerary planning, ensuring a seamless and luxurious stay. This position requires a professional with impeccable manners, a proactive approach, and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality standards.
Responsibilities
- Cater to the bespoke needs of guests, providing personalized services such as personal shopping, itinerary planning, and arranging private transportation.
- Ensure a seamless and luxurious stay for guests by managing room service orders, special requests, and coordinating with hotel staff for any additional services.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and order within the suite, including the management of wardrobe and personal items of guests.
- Organize and oversee private events or dinners held in the suite, coordinating with the hotel’s catering and event planning teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for guests during their stay, addressing any inquiries or concerns with promptness and discretion.
- Conduct daily briefings with housekeeping and concierge teams to ensure all guest needs are anticipated and met.
- Manage financial transactions related to guest services and maintain accurate records of expenditures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a butler, concierge, or in a similar role within luxury hotels or private residences.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with high-profile guests in a professional manner.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of fine dining etiquette, wine service, and housekeeping standards.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by guest schedules.
- Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality on all matters.
- High school diploma required; certification in hospitality management or related field is preferred.
