A prestigious hotel in Paris, known for its exquisite dining and unparalleled service, is looking for a part-time server/waitstaff to enhance its culinary team. Located near the Eiffel Tower, this role offers the opportunity to work in one of the city's most luxurious settings, serving a discerning international clientele. Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a courteous and timely manner, providing an immediate positive impression.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, offering recommendations based on guests’ preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Serve meals and drinks to guests, ensuring all requests and needs are attended to promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and wine list, to answer any guest inquiries.
- Process payments and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operation and timely preparation of orders.
- Set up and clear tables before and after service, maintaining the dining area's cleanliness and readiness.
- Handle guest feedback with professionalism and relay important information to management to improve service.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a server/waitstaff, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse clientele.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling regulations.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to work part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluent in French and proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
