Our client, a leading luxury retail store situated in the heart of Paris, is currently looking for a dedicated assistant store manager. Responsibilities
- Supervising the sales team to ensure monthly sales targets are met, including setting individual goals and monitoring performance.
- Implementing sales strategies developed in collaboration with the store manager to increase customer acquisition and retention.
- Managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability, including conducting weekly inventory checks and coordinating with the procurement team for restocking.
- Overseeing daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and maintaining store presentation standards.
- Handling customer complaints and feedback, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to organize in-store events and promotions to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Providing training and development support to new hires and existing staff to uphold service excellence.
- Coordinating with the visual merchandising team to ensure the store's aesthetic aligns with brand standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business management, retail management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a management role within the luxury retail sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in staff supervision and training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and management.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
