As a Host/Hostess, you'll be responsible for creating memorable guest experiences by managing reservations, assisting with inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest satisfaction
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Collaborate closely with front desk staff to ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes
- Coordinate with the kitchen and serving staff to accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions
- Maintain a tidy and organized lobby area, including overseeing the cleanliness of seating areas and restrooms
- Assist in organizing and hosting special events or VIP functions, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any guest concerns or issues promptly
- Uphold the hotel's standards of excellence in guest service and professionalism at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role within the luxury hospitality industry, with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with guests from diverse backgrounds
- Impeccable grooming and presentation, reflecting the high standards of our client's luxury establishment
- Proficiency in multiple languages, particularly French and English, is highly desirable
- Ability to remain calm and composed in fast-paced environments, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to guest service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the hospitality industry
- Knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer skills for managing guest bookings and inquiries
- A positive attitude, team player mentality, and a genuine passion for providing exceptional hospitality experiences.
