Job description

A leading luxury hotel in Paris, seeks an IT Manager to maintain and optimize their technology infrastructure. This role involves managing IT projects, troubleshooting issues, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance guest experiences. Candidates with hospitality IT experience and a proactive mindset are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the hotel's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software systems.
  • Oversee IT projects, from planning to implementation, to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize disruptions to hotel operations.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand their technology needs and develop solutions to meet them.
  • Implement and enforce IT security protocols to safeguard guest data and protect against cyber threats.
  • Conduct regular system audits and performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Provide technical support and training to hotel staff to ensure they can effectively utilize technology systems.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in hospitality IT to recommend innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the IT department, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong technical skills in server administration, networking, and software implementation.
  • Experience with hospitality-specific IT systems, such as property management systems (PMS) and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices and experience implementing security protocols.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and department heads.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or Certified Hospitality Technology Professional (CHTP) are preferred.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a commitment to excellence in hospitality IT management.
