Job description
Our client, a renowned luxury hotel in Dubai’s Downtown area, is hiring a Spa Manager. This role involves overseeing the delivery of in-room spa treatments, managing a team of professionals, and maintaining high standards of service. The ideal candidate has significant experience in luxury hotel spa operations, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences. Attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the scheduling and delivery of all spa treatments.
- Supervise and manage a team of spa therapists, providing training and performance evaluations.
- Ensure all spa services meet the luxury hotel's high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory of spa products and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and maintenance.
- Develop and implement spa protocols and procedures to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to review performance, share updates, and motivate the team.
- Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall spa experience.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the spa environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Spa Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in spa management within a luxury hotel setting.
- Certification in Spa Therapy or similar, such as CIDESCO or CIBTAC.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and training spa teams.
- Strong knowledge of spa treatments, therapies, and products.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and inventory management systems.
- Fluency in English; additional languages such as Arabic or French are a plus.
