Our esteemed client, a well-established restaurant in Dubai, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Accountant (M/F) to join their team. This is a junior-level position ideal for someone with hands-on accounting experience within the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry in the UAE.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.
Responsibilities
Accounting Operations:
- Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare general ledgers, journal entries, and financial statements
- Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow
- Accurately record revenue, expenses, and inventory transactions
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
Tax Compliance:

Support VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
Reporting & Coordination:
- Generate regular financial reports for management review
- Coordinate with internal departments for invoice verification and payment processing
Data Management:
- Utilize accounting software and Excel for efficient data management
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
Requirements
- Indian national, male preferred
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in an F&B company in the UAE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work independently under pressure
- Familiarity with UAE financial and tax regulations
