Our client, a prestigious luxury hotel located in the heart of New York City, is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager. This esteemed establishment, known for its exceptional service and luxurious accommodations, requires a candidate with a strong background in finance and accounting, ideally within the hospitality industry. The successful applicant will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring the hotel's financial health and compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role is pivotal in supporting the hotel's continued success and maintaining its reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in the hospitality industry, specifically in luxury hotels.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards applicable to the hospitality industry.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proven track record of managing audits and compliance with financial practices.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing a finance team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skill to work with various departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
