On behalf of our client, a renowned luxury dining establishment located near the Louvre Museum in Paris, we are seeking a professional Bar Manager/Bartender. This position requires an individual with a profound understanding of the luxury hospitality industry, expertise in mixology, and an ability to lead a team with charisma and efficiency. Key duties include managing bar operations, crafting innovative cocktail menus, and providing guests with an unforgettable experience. Responsibilities
- Crafting and updating the cocktail menu on a monthly basis, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative mixology techniques.
- Leading and training the bar staff to ensure top-tier service and knowledge of the latest cocktail trends.
- Managing inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling costs, to ensure the bar operates efficiently and within budget.
- Collaborating with the restaurant's head chef to create cocktail pairings that complement the menu offerings, enhancing the overall dining experience.
- Overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of the bar area to meet the luxury standards of the establishment.
- Conducting weekly team meetings to review performance, discuss upcoming events, and strategize improvements.
- Implementing marketing initiatives to promote the bar's offerings and special events in collaboration with the restaurant's PR team.
- Monitoring customer feedback to continuously improve the drink menu and service levels, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction.
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of laws related to beverage service.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-end bar or luxury restaurant environment, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Professional bartending certification from a recognized institution.
- Advanced knowledge of mixology, including the creation and execution of innovative cocktails.
- Demonstrated ability to train and lead a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in inventory management, including procurement and cost control.
- Familiarity with the latest trends in the beverage industry, with a keen interest in continuous learning and development.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments, such as the kitchen and marketing teams, to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Strong organizational skills, with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in French and English, with additional languages considered an asset.
