Job description
A high-end restaurant located in the exclusive Brickell area of Miami is seeking a professional Barista to elevate their morning and afternoon service. This role is pivotal in providing an unparalleled dining experience, offering meticulously prepared coffee and tea selections. The successful applicant will demonstrate expertise in coffee preparation techniques, an understanding of flavor profiles, and the ability to operate state-of-the-art espresso machines. Your contribution will enhance the overall ambiance and service level, making every coffee service a memorable occasion for our discerning guests.
Responsibilities
- Mastering and executing a variety of coffee brewing techniques, including espresso, pour-over, and cold brew methods.
- Regularly assessing and selecting high-quality coffee beans, in collaboration with our client's gourmet suppliers, ensuring a premium coffee experience.
- Conducting weekly inventory checks of coffee supplies and equipment to maintain optimal stock levels and functionality.
- Collaborating with the culinary team to develop and introduce monthly coffee-related specials, enhancing the restaurant's beverage offerings.
- Providing exceptional customer service, including sharing insights on coffee selections, preparation methods, and flavor profiles.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Training new staff members on coffee equipment operation and best practices in coffee preparation and presentation.
- Participating in regular team meetings with the restaurant management and staff to discuss performance, guest feedback, and operational improvements.
