Responsibilities
- Crafting and serving signature cocktails and beverages to guests with precision and creativity.
- Managing and maintaining stock levels of spirits, wines, and other bar supplies through weekly inventory checks.
- Collaborating closely with the culinary team to develop drink menus that complement seasonal dishes.
- Conducting monthly mixology workshops for staff to ensure continuous improvement and innovation in drink offerings.
- Implementing and adhering to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and clean bar environment.
- Engaging with guests to provide a personalized dining experience, including offering recommendations based on preferences and occasions.
- Coordinating with the event planning team to create bespoke cocktail menus for private functions and special events held at the restaurant.
- Training new bartenders and service staff on cocktail recipes, presentation techniques, and customer service excellence.
- Monitoring trends in the beverage industry to keep the bar's offerings innovative and competitive.
- Handling cash and payment transactions accurately, ensuring a smooth billing process for guests.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a bartender in a luxury or high-end dining environment.
- Professional bartending qualification or equivalent certification.
- Profound knowledge of mixology, wine, and spirits.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and guest interaction.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Keen attention to detail for crafting drinks and maintaining the bar area.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations within a hospitality setting.
