Job description
We are currently recruiting for the role of Brand Ambassador for a prestigious 5-Star hotel situated in the exclusive Upper East Side of New York. This position is integral to the hotel's commitment to delivering unparalleled service and luxury to its guests. Responsibilities include acting as the face of the hotel, liaising with potential clients, and ensuring the brand's standards are upheld across all guest interactions. Candidates should possess a strong background in luxury hospitality, superior interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the high expectations of guests in the luxury sector.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring their needs are met with the utmost professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate closely with the hotel's marketing team to develop and implement strategies that promote the hotel's luxury services and amenities.
- Organize and participate in monthly networking events held at the hotel to foster relationships with potential clients and partners.
- Conduct weekly tours of the hotel for VIP guests and potential clients, showcasing the facility's luxury offerings and personalized services.
- Work alongside the customer service team to gather feedback from guests, using this information to enhance the guest experience continuously.
- Coordinate with the hotel's social media manager to create engaging content that reflects the brand's values and luxury standards.
- Lead the training sessions for new staff members on the importance of brand representation and the standards expected within the luxury hospitality industry.
- Monitor and report on competitor activities within the luxury hotel sector, providing insights to the management team for strategic planning.
- Represent the hotel at industry events and conferences, highlighting the brand's contributions to the luxury hospitality sector.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized institution such as Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration or the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a luxury hospitality environment, preferably in a guest services or public relations role.
- Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) or Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) accreditation is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies within the luxury market segment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of clients and guests.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and experience in managing brand presence online.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (such as French, Spanish, or Mandarin) are a plus, reflecting New York's diverse clientele.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams across different departments, including marketing, customer service, and event management.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the hotel's events and guest interactions.
