Requirements
- A culinary arts degree from a recognized institution such as Le Cordon Bleu, Culinary Institute of America, or Johnson & Wales University.
- At least 5 years of experience in a fine dining or luxury restaurant environment, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Executive Chef (CEC) or Certified Master Chef (CMC) from the American Culinary Federation.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and create high-quality, unique dishes that cater to a sophisticated clientele.
- Proven track record of managing kitchen operations efficiently, including staff training, menu planning, and inventory management.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, with certifications in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) or similar.
- Experience in sourcing ingredients from local and sustainable suppliers, with an understanding of seasonal product availability.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of mentoring a team and working collaboratively with other departments.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's operating hours.
