Job description
Our esteemed recruitment agency is currently seeking an experienced concierge for our prestigious client, a renowned luxury hotel located in the heart of Paris, near the iconic Champs-Élysées. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, a deep knowledge of Parisian luxury offerings, and the ability to fulfill the unique and sophisticated needs of our guests. This role involves coordinating guest activities, making restaurant reservations, and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their stay in the city of lights. We are looking for a professional with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and a commitment to service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage guest reservations for high-end restaurants, exclusive events, and private tours around Paris.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of Parisian luxury offerings, including but not limited to entertainment, dining, shopping, and cultural experiences.
- Offer personalized recommendations to guests based on their preferences and previous stays to ensure a bespoke experience.
- Liaise with the hotel's hospitality team, including room service, housekeeping, and the events department, to coordinate special guest requests and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Organize monthly cultural excursions exclusively for hotel guests, highlighting Paris's unique heritage and contemporary attractions.
- Collaborate with luxury retail partners to arrange private shopping experiences and exclusive previews for guests.
- Handle all guest inquiries with discretion, professionalism, and promptness, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct weekly meetings with the hotel management team to review guest feedback and implement improvements in the concierge service offerings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a concierge role within a luxury hotel environment.
- Certification from Les Clefs d'Or, the prestigious international concierge association, is highly desirable.
- Fluent in French and English; additional language skills (Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic) are a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of Paris, including its luxury market, cultural landmarks, and hidden gems.
- Strong networking skills with local vendors, event organizers, and luxury brands.
- Proficiency in using concierge software and communication tools to manage guest requests and reservations.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
