Join a world-renowned luxury retailer as their next High-end Retail Customer Operations Manager on New York City's famed Fifth Avenue. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of customer service and store operations, ensuring that the luxury shopping experience meets the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail operations management, with a specific focus on luxury goods. This position offers the chance to work with an elite clientele and lead a team in one of the most prestigious retail locations in the world.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the customer service team to ensure a luxurious shopping experience for all clients.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct monthly staff training sessions on product knowledge and customer service excellence.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising department to ensure product availability and presentation aligns with brand standards.
  • Oversee weekly inventory management to prevent stock shortages and overages.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to create in-store events and promotions that attract and retain high-end clientele.
  • Monitor and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly.
  • Manage relationships with VIP clients, including personalized shopping experiences and exclusive previews.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulations related to store operations and customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. Prestigious institutions such as New York University or Columbia Business School are preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in retail management, with a focus on luxury brands.
  • Proven track record of improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in a retail setting.
  • Certification in Customer Service Management, such as the Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM) from the Customer Service Institute of America (CSIA).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to engage with a high-end clientele.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.

  • Work Hours: Full-time position with the expectation to work weekends and holidays as needed. Typical hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM, with occasional late hours for events and promotions.
