A five-star hotel located adjacent to the picturesque Luxembourg Gardens in Paris is in search of an event Coordinator. This role is pivotal in orchestrating bespoke events that align with the hotel’s reputation for luxury and exclusivity. The candidate will oversee all aspects of event planning, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring each event exceeds guest expectations. Key responsibilities include vendor management, budget oversight, and guest relations. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, catering arrangements, and entertainment bookings.
  • Collaborate closely with the hotel's culinary team to design bespoke menus tailored to each event.
  • Liaise with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and products.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences, providing personalized service.
  • Manage event budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Work closely with the hotel's sales and marketing team to promote and market events effectively.
  • Supervise event setup and execution, overseeing staff to ensure smooth operations during events.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback to continuously improve event offerings.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation related to event planning and execution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to innovate and enhance event experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in event coordination, preferably in a luxury hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and permits related to event planning in Paris.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
