Responsibilities
- Leading the guest services team to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
- Coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and culinary departments to address guest needs promptly.
- Managing and resolving guest complaints with tact and efficiency, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Conducting regular training sessions for the guest relations team to maintain high service standards.
- Collaborating with the marketing department to communicate promotions and special offers to guests.
- Monitoring guest feedback through various channels and implementing improvements based on their suggestions.
- Organizing and overseeing VIP guest arrivals, stays, and departures to ensure personalized service.
- Reporting directly to the hotel manager on guest relations metrics, challenges, and successes.
- Implementing loyalty programs and initiatives to enhance guest retention and satisfaction.
- Conducting weekly team meetings to review guest feedback, discuss service improvements, and plan for upcoming events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in guest services or guest relations within the luxury hotel sector.
- Proven track record of improving guest satisfaction and handling high-pressure situations gracefully.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a diverse team.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft office suite.
- Availability to work flexible hours, to meet the needs of the hotel and its guests.
