Responsibilities
- Overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring all service standards are met.
- Leading, training, and managing the restaurant team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
- Collaborating with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.
- Conducting monthly inventory checks and coordinating with suppliers to ensure all necessary materials are available.
- Implementing and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Handling guest complaints and feedback with professionalism and in a manner that enhances guest satisfaction.
- Coordinating with the restaurant manager and other department heads to optimize operational efficiency and guest service.
- Organizing and supervising special events, promotions, and private dining experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a head waiter/waitress or similar leadership role in a luxury or fine dining restaurant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- A strong understanding of service excellence in a luxury dining setting.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations diplomatically.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A relevant hospitality management diploma or certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of wine and fine dining etiquette is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
