We are seeking a dedicated Hotel General Manager to oversee operations at our client's luxury property located in the prestigious Mayfair district of London. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of hotel performance, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include staff leadership, financial management, and upholding the highest standards of service and cleanliness. Experience in luxury hospitality management and a strong focus on customer service excellence are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the hotel to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
- Lead, motivate, and manage hotel staff across all departments to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and team performance.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to maintain service standards.
- Manage the hotel's budget, financial planning, and cost control measures without compromising service quality.
- Implement and maintain rigorous standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the property.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that enhance the hotel's visibility and attract new guests.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the hotel receives high-quality products and services at competitive prices.
- Analyze customer feedback and make necessary adjustments to improve guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and hotel policies.
- Work closely with the sales team to drive occupancy rates and revenue.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a management role within the luxury hotel sector.
- Proven track record of managing hotel operations successfully, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A commitment to upholding the highest standards of service and quality.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
