Job description
Responsibilities
- Supervise the pool area to ensure guest safety and adherence to pool rules.
- Conduct regular checks of water quality, adjusting chemicals as needed to maintain optimal conditions.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness around the pool area, including the deck, chairs, and facilities.
- Provide towels and amenities to guests, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable pool experience.
- Assist guests with any requests or needs related to the pool area, enhancing their overall satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the spa and maintenance teams to address any issues promptly and efficiently.
- Lead pool safety drills and ensure all emergency equipment is in working order.
- Manage inventory of pool supplies and materials, requesting restocks when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a pool attendant or similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or spa environment.
- Strong knowledge of pool maintenance and safety protocols.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work part-time hours, including weekends and holidays.
- A friendly and positive demeanor, with the ability to interact professionally with guests.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks and to assist guests as needed.
