Our client, an exclusive Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris, is offering an opportunity for a part-time private dining coordinator to join their team. This role demands the coordination of private dining bookings, customization of menus to guest preferences, and seamless collaboration with the kitchen and service teams. Responsibilities
- Coordinate private dining bookings, ensuring each event is tailored to the guests' specific requirements and preferences.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to customize menus according to guest preferences and dietary needs.
- Maintain seamless communication between kitchen staff, service teams, and guests to ensure high-quality dining experiences.
- Manage the setup and breakdown of private dining areas, overseeing the arrangement to match the theme and expectations of the event.
- Handle guest inquiries and reservations, providing detailed information about available dining options and services.
- Monitor and manage inventory of dining supplies and materials needed for private events.
- Conduct follow-up with guests post-event to gather feedback and suggest future dining experiences.
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote the restaurant's private dining services through various channels.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related field, preferably within a fine dining or luxury restaurant environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food and beverage, including wine pairing and gourmet cuisine.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- A passion for creating unique and memorable dining experiences.
- Fluency in French and English to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
- Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
