Job description
Our client, a leading luxury hotel situated in the heart of Dubai's bustling downtown area, is actively seeking a public relations specialist. This role is essential for enhancing the hotel's brand presence and establishing strong media relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in public relations within the hospitality industry, demonstrating an ability to craft impactful narratives and manage high-profile events that elevate guest experience and brand loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public relations strategies to enhance the hotel's brand presence and reputation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers within the hospitality industry.
- Manage and coordinate all PR activities, including press releases, media briefings, and public appearances.
- Organize high-profile events and press conferences to promote the hotel and its services.
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure consistency in promotional strategies.
- Handle crisis management and negative PR, working to maintain the hotel's positive image.
- Advise hotel management on public relations matters and recommend strategies for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- Proven experience in public relations, preferably within the hospitality or luxury sector.
- Strong network of media contacts and influencers in the industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in social media and digital marketing strategies.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
