Our client, a prestigious hotel located in Miami, is seeking a professional receptionist to join their front office team. The role involves greeting guests, managing reservations, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a memorable stay. The ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor, strong organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality, aiming to uphold the hotel's high standards of excellence and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival, providing a warm and friendly welcome to the luxury hotel.
- Manage guest reservations, including checking guests in and out of the hotel efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure room readiness and address any guest issues promptly.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area that reflects the hotel's luxury standards.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to guests.
- Assist in managing guest bookings for hotel facilities such as the spa, restaurant, and event spaces.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- A high school diploma is required; further education in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
