A renowned luxury jewelry store in Paris's iconic Place Vendôme is looking for a part-time sales consultant to join their team. This role involves engaging with clients, understanding their needs and preferences, and guiding them through our exquisite collection of fine jewelry. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of luxury goods, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create memorable customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and requirements, offering personalized consultations on fine jewelry.
- Present and explain the unique features and value of our luxury jewelry pieces, ensuring clients make informed decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, following up on purchases and inquiries to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Manage sales transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing and processing payments.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in luxury jewelry and communicate this knowledge to clients.
- Collaborate with the store management and other team members to maintain inventory accuracy and the presentation of merchandise.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Organize and maintain the appearance of the sales floor to ensure a high-quality shopping environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in luxury retail sales, preferably within the jewelry sector.
- Strong understanding of customer service excellence in a luxury retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a high-end clientele.
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and luxury brands in the jewelry industry.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus, especially English and French.
- High school diploma required; a degree in business, marketing, or related field is preferred.
