A leading luxury retail brand in London's exclusive Knightsbridge area is seeking a part-time social media manager. This position involves curating engaging content, managing our social media accounts, and developing strategies to increase our online visibility and customer engagement. Applicants should possess a strong background in social media marketing within the retail sector, creativity in content creation, and the ability to capture the essence of luxury through digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Curate engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms, tailored to the luxury retail brand's identity.
- Manage all social media accounts, ensuring consistent and timely posts that align with marketing strategies.
- Develop and implement social media campaigns to increase brand visibility, customer engagement, and online following.
- Analyze social media metrics to gauge the success of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure a cohesive brand message across all digital and traditional marketing efforts.
- Engage directly with followers by responding to comments and messages, fostering a community around the brand.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, especially those relevant to the luxury market.
- Coordinate with photographers, designers, and content creators to produce high-quality digital content.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably within the luxury retail industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.), including their use in marketing strategies.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to craft content that reflects the luxury brand's voice.
- Creativity and an eye for design, capable of producing visually appealing content.
- Knowledge of social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Ability to work part-time hours, with flexibility to adjust based on campaign needs and social media activity.
