A leading five-star hotel in Paris, known for its exquisite spa facilities and personalized service, is looking for a part-time spa therapist/massage therapist. The role involves delivering a range of therapeutic spa treatments and massages, tailored to meet the needs and preferences of hotel guests and spa members. Applicants should have a professional qualification in massage therapy, experience in a luxury spa environment, and the ability to create a relaxing, rejuvenating experience for each client.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide range of spa treatments and massages, including Swedish, deep tissue, and aromatherapy, tailored to the individual needs of guests.
- Conduct client consultations to understand their preferences and health concerns, ensuring personalized and effective treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting treatment environment, adhering to health and hygiene standards.
- Work closely with the spa reception and management teams to manage schedules, accommodate guest requests, and maximize the efficiency of spa operations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay abreast of the latest spa treatment trends and techniques.
- Provide expert advice on wellness practices and product recommendations to enhance clients' spa experience and overall well-being.
- Collaborate with other spa therapists and staff to create a cohesive and tranquil spa experience for all guests.
- Handle client feedback with professionalism and address any concerns to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Professional qualification in massage therapy or equivalent, recognized by the relevant professional bodies.
- Proven experience as a Spa Therapist or Massage Therapist, ideally within a luxury hotel or high-end spa environment.
- Proficient in a variety of massage modalities with a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English; additional language skills, especially French, are highly advantageous.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a discreet and sensitive approach.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the spa.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
