Job description
We are seeking a dedicated Beach Club Director for our esteemed client, an exclusive beach club located in New York. The successful candidate will oversee all operations, including staff management, member services, and event planning, ensuring the highest standards of luxury and service are maintained. Responsibilities
- Oversee the club's daily operations to ensure efficiency and excellence in service delivery.
- Supervise and mentor a team of hospitality professionals, including training and performance evaluation.
- Engage with club members to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Coordinate with the events team to plan and execute club events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to oversee menu planning and ensure food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards of quality.
- Implement and maintain strict health and safety protocols across all club facilities.
- Work closely with the maintenance department to ensure the club's premises are impeccably maintained.
- Conduct regular financial reviews, budget management, and profitability analysis.
- Foster relationships with vendors and local businesses for partnerships and sponsorships.
- Lead marketing initiatives to promote the club's services and events to potential members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial role within the luxury hospitality industry, preferably in a beach club or similar setting.
- Proven track record of leading teams and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong understanding of event planning and execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a high-end clientele.
- Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting and revenue analysis.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by club events and operations.
- Certification in health and safety management for hospitality establishments is preferred.
