Responsibilities
- Craft exquisite culinary creations for discerning guests
- Collaborate with the sous chef and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Develop innovative menus showcasing seasonal ingredients
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
- Oversee kitchen inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to uphold quality standards
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to ensure seamless service
- Participate in menu tastings and food presentations for special events
- Continuously strive for excellence in culinary execution and presentation
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized institution
- Demonstrated proficiency in French cuisine and classic cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure during busy periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Passion for innovation and creativity in menu development
