Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics for various events hosted by the luxury hotel, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and VIP functions.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences, ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
  • Collaborate closely with the hotel's culinary team to design bespoke menus tailored to each event.
  • Manage event budgets and resources efficiently, optimizing costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Oversee setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring they are immaculately presented and meet the hotel's luxury standards.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to promote upcoming events and attract high-profile clientele.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event planning process, addressing any client concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain detailed event documentation, including contracts, vendor agreements, and event timelines, to ensure smooth execution and seamless communication.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in event planning, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in event coordination within the luxury hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing high-end events, preferably in a prestigious hotel or resort setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and colleagues at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics and luxury, ensuring every aspect of the event reflects the hotel's high standards.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
  • Certification in event planning or hospitality management is a plus.
