Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative menus showcasing seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
  • Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to create cohesive dining experiences
  • Oversee inventory management and procurement of high-quality ingredients
  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections and implement improvements as needed
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet guest expectations and preferences
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to continuously elevate the dining experience

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar leadership role in a luxury hotel or upscale dining establishment
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institute
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and food safety standards
  • Creative flair and a passion for creating innovative and visually stunning dishes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage kitchen operations
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and procurement processes
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction
