Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment efforts including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting interviews.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the company.
  • Manage employee training programs, scheduling sessions and tracking attendance.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts as needed.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and databases, updating employee information regularly.
  • Collaborate with department managers to assess staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees and managers.
  • Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all HR practices.
  • Foster a positive work environment by organizing team-building activities and recognition programs.
  • Assist with various HR projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources roles, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with a commitment to maintaining compliance.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
