Responsibilities

Provide bespoke tailoring services to clients with precision and attention to detail.
Conduct fittings and alterations to ensure garments fit perfectly according to client preferences.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client needs and offer personalized tailoring solutions.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the upkeep of tailoring equipment and materials.
Stay updated on current fashion trends and techniques in tailoring to enhance service offerings.
Assist in managing inventory of fabrics and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for efficient operations.
Uphold the brand's reputation for excellence by delivering outstanding customer service and craftsmanship.
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests.

Requirements

Proven experience as a tailor, with a minimum of 3 years working in a luxury retail environment.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, fitting techniques, and tailoring alterations.
Proficiency in using sewing machines, hand sewing techniques, and other tailoring tools.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
Diploma or certification in fashion design, tailoring, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required by the demands of the retail industry.
Knowledge of luxury fashion brands and trends is advantageous.
A portfolio showcasing previous tailoring work and customer testimonials may be requested during the application process.
