Job description

Seeking an Operations Manager to join our esteemed client's luxury retail team based in London. This role involves coordinating store activities, streamlining processes, and upholding brand standards. The ideal candidate will have a background in retail management, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to achieving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning
  • Develop and implement efficient operational procedures
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment and stocktaking
  • Collaborate with sales associates to optimize customer service and satisfaction
  • Liaise with suppliers to maintain inventory levels and quality standards
  • Analyze sales data and trends to make informed operational decisions
  • Train and mentor staff members on operational processes and procedures
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and events
  • Address any operational issues or concerns promptly and effectively

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the luxury retail industry
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of team management
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems
  • Understanding of retail KPIs and ability to analyze sales data
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred
  • Familiarity with luxury retail brands and products
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary
