Responsibilities
- Develop and execute dessert menus in collaboration with the executive chef
- Create visually appealing and delicious pastries, cakes, and desserts for the hotel's restaurants and events
- Ensure high standards of quality and presentation are consistently met
- Collaborate with the pastry team to innovate and refine recipes
- Manage inventory and ordering of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Train and mentor junior pastry team members
- Work closely with the pastry sous chef to maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
- Assist in special pastry projects and events as needed
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve pastry offerings
