Job description

Join a luxury hotel in London as a Restaurant Interior Designer. Your role involves creating captivating and elegant dining spaces, ensuring they reflect the hotel's opulent ambiance. Utilize your creative flair to design layouts, select furnishings, and coordinate with contractors. Contribute to enhancing the overall guest experience in a prestigious setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and design interior layouts for restaurant spaces within the luxury hotel
  • Select and source high-quality furnishings, decor, and materials that align with the hotel's upscale aesthetic
  • Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely and accurate execution of design plans
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to oversee the implementation of design concepts and address any issues that may arise
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in interior design, incorporating innovative ideas into restaurant designs
  • Work closely with hotel management and culinary teams to understand their vision and requirements for restaurant spaces
  • Manage project budgets and timelines effectively to ensure projects are completed within scope and on schedule
  • Provide guidance and support to junior members of the design team as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
  • Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality interior design, preferably within the luxury sector
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit
  • Strong portfolio showcasing successful restaurant interior design projects
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, spatial layouts, and materials
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and luxury craftsmanship
