Job description

A luxury hotel, is hiring an Engineering Manager. Lead a skilled team in maintaining top-notch facilities. If you're a seasoned leader with a background in engineering, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance operations to ensure facilities are in optimal condition.
Manage a team of engineers and technicians, delegating tasks efficiently.
Collaborate with other department heads to coordinate maintenance schedules.
Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and preventative maintenance.
Develop and implement maintenance procedures to enhance efficiency and safety.
Respond promptly to any emergency maintenance requests.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses for reporting purposes.
Train and mentor staff to uphold quality standards and best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
Strong technical knowledge of building systems and facilities maintenance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with colleagues and vendors.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Certification in facility management or related field is a plus.
Familiarity with local regulations and codes related to building maintenance and safety.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
