A luxury hotel, is hiring an Engineering Manager. Lead a skilled team in maintaining top-notch facilities. If you're a seasoned leader with a background in engineering, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance operations to ensure facilities are in optimal condition.
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians, delegating tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with other department heads to coordinate maintenance schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and preventative maintenance.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Respond promptly to any emergency maintenance requests.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses for reporting purposes.
- Train and mentor staff to uphold quality standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and facilities maintenance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with colleagues and vendors.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in facility management or related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with local regulations and codes related to building maintenance and safety.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
