Join a prestigious hotel in Paris as a Banquet Manager. Oversee the execution of high-profile events, ensuring impeccable service and client satisfaction. We're seeking a candidate with proven expertise in banquet operations and exceptional organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate banquet operations, including setup, service, and breakdown, to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to create and customize menus tailored to clients' preferences.
  • Manage banquet staff, providing guidance, training, and support to uphold service standards.
  • Liaise with event planners and clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
  • Oversee inventory management for banquet supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels for events.
  • Conduct regular meetings with banquet staff to review upcoming events, address any issues, and provide feedback.
  • Work closely with the sales team to generate new business and maximize revenue opportunities through upselling and cross-selling banquet services.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet facilities, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to guests' satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze banquet performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in banquet management or related role in the luxury hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully executing high-profile events with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and interact with clients.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, catering techniques, and wine service.
  • Familiarity with banquet software systems for scheduling, inventory management, and guest tracking.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages such as French is a plus.
