Job description
Our client in Abu Dhabi is preparing to launch Glacia Rose Gelateria and Pasticceria, a luxury concept specializing in artisanal Italian gelato, premium pastries, and elegant beverages with an Emirati twist. They are seeking a talented and professional Bartender (Mocktails) to join their Front of House team. This role is ideal for a bartender passionate about creating innovative, alcohol-free beverages while providing an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide variety of mocktails, fresh juices, smoothies, and other specialty non-alcoholic beverages.

Develop creative and visually appealing mocktail recipes that align with Glacia Rose’s luxury standards and incorporate Emirati flavors (e.g., dates, saffron, cardamom).

Provide excellent guest service, engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering drink recommendations.

Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning of all beverages.

Manage mise en place and ensure all bar ingredients (syrups, garnishes, juices) are prepped and available during service.

Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients.

Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic bar station in compliance with health and safety standards.

Collaborate with the service and kitchen teams to support smooth operations.
Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a bartender or beverage specialist in a high-end café, hotel, or restaurant.

Expertise in preparing mocktails and other non-alcoholic drinks; creativity in recipe development is highly valued.

Knowledge of beverage trends, flavor pairings, and garnishing techniques.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Professional, well-groomed, and confident in guest interactions.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail.

Previous experience in luxury hospitality is an advantage.
