Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability and minimize excess inventory.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Implement sales strategies to drive revenue and meet targets, analyzing performance metrics regularly.
  • Oversee store operations, including opening and closing procedures, scheduling, and cash management.
  • Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create captivating store displays that showcase products effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and maintain product quality.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
  • Conduct regular staff training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and adaptation in a competitive landscape.
  • Work closely with the store owner or upper management to develop and execute strategic plans for business growth and expansion.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the luxury retail industry, preferably as a store manager or assistant manager.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and retail operations, including familiarity with POS systems and inventory tracking software.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Knowledge of luxury brands, products, and trends, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a retail environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field preferred.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken english, with additional language skills such as french considered a strong asset.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall shopping experience.
