Job description
Our client in Abu Dhabi is launching Glacia Rose Gelateria and Pasticceria, a premium dessert destination offering handcrafted Italian gelato, refined pastries, and a warm, community-driven experience. They are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily front-of-house operations, lead the service team, and deliver an exceptional guest experience that reflects the brand’s vision of elegance, quality, and cultural fusion.
Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the gelateria and pasticceria, ensuring smooth, efficient, and guest-focused service.

Recruit, train, and manage front-of-house staff, setting performance standards and fostering a professional, welcoming environment.

Ensure the highest levels of customer service, actively engaging with guests to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.

Monitor dining area presentation, cleanliness, and adherence to brand guidelines.

Manage reservations, guest flow, and POS operations to optimize efficiency during peak and off-peak hours.

Collaborate with the kitchen and production teams to ensure seamless service and communication between front and back of house.

Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally, turning issues into positive experiences.

Maintain operational records, prepare sales and performance reports, and manage daily cash handling.

Assist in developing service policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and staff schedules.

Support marketing initiatives, special promotions, and community events including culinary classes and product launches.
Requirements
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in a restaurant or café management role, preferably in a premium or boutique F&B concept.

Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.

Background in dessert, café, or pastry-focused concepts is highly desirable.

Solid understanding of POS systems, reservations, and daily reporting.

Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Have an experience in pre-opening is an advantage.
