Job description
Our client in Abu Dhabi is launching Glacia Rose Gelateria and Pasticceria, a premium dessert destination specializing in authentic Italian gelato, pastries, and artisanal coffee. They are currently seeking friendly, polished, and service-driven Waiters/Waitresses (M/F) for full-time positions.
As a key part of the front-of-house team, you will contribute to creating an elegant and welcoming guest experience rooted in Italian hospitality. This role requires attentiveness, professionalism, and the ability to deliver memorable service in a refined café environment.
Responsibilities
Guest Service:

Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions about menu offerings.

Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to preparation staff.

Serve coffee, gelato, desserts, and beverages in a timely, professional manner.
Table Management:

Set, clear, and reset tables efficiently throughout service periods.

Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the dining area.

Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any requests or concerns.
Team Support:

Work collaboratively with baristas, kitchen staff, and supervisors for smooth operations.

Assist with takeaway packaging and other service-related tasks as needed.

Participate in regular service briefings and staff training sessions.
Cleanliness & Compliance:

Adhere to hygiene, safety, and sanitation protocols as per UAE regulations.

Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards consistent with the brand’s image.
Requirements
-
Minimum 2 years of experience as a waiter or service staff in a hospitality environment.

Experience in cafés, restaurants, or dessert-focused establishments preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Positive, courteous, and attentive service attitude.

Ability to remain calm and organized in high-volume situations.

Fluent in English (additional language skills are an advantage).

Punctual, professional appearance, and flexible schedule.
