Job description
We are looking for a skilled and creative Chef in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to lead our kitchen team, develop seasonal menus, and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare diverse, high-quality menus.
- Lead and supervise the kitchen staff.
- Manage kitchen inventory, budgeting, and supplier coordination.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Collaborate with F&B Manager on special events and menu planning.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef.
- Expertise in international and fusion cuisine.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- High attention to detail and creativity.
- Culinary degree or certification preferred.
Work conditions
- Flights: Round-trip economy class airfare.
- Arrival/Departure Support: Airport pickup and drop-off in Ulaanbaatar.
Accommodation:
- Hotel-standard room in Ulaanbaatar.
- Guest villa (not staff accommodation) at the resort.
Meals:
- Provided in UB city.
- 3 meals/day at the resort.
Work Schedule:
- 6 working days, 1 rest day per week.
- 8 hours per day.
Legal Support:
Visa, residency permit, and work permit costs in Mongolia covered by employer.
Salary: USD 3,000 gross/month.
Location: Ulaanbaatar (UB) & Resort, Mongolia.
